The Lane Shark Switch Kit is designed for tractor owners who already have an electronically controlled 3rd Function Valve but need the continuous hydraulic flow required to operate a Lane Shark brush cutter.
Compatible with many Kubota L-Series, MX-Series, M-Series, and John Deere 3 and 5 Series tractors, the Switch Kit allows operators to maintain continuous hydraulic flow without holding a button, lever, or relying on makeshift solutions.
If your tractor already has a factory-installed or aftermarket electronically controlled 3rd Function system, the Lane Shark Switch Kit may be the final component needed to operate your Lane Shark LS3, LS4, or Hammerhead brush cutter.
Lane Shark brush cutters require continuous hydraulic flow to operate properly.
Most electronically controlled 3rd Function systems are designed for momentary operation, meaning hydraulic flow stops when the button is released. The Lane Shark Switch Kit solves this problem by keeping the hydraulic circuit open, allowing continuous flow to the cutter while you work.
This provides smoother operation, reduces operator fatigue, and eliminates the need for temporary solutions such as holding switches or securing controls in place.
To properly operate a Lane Shark brush cutter, your tractor must have an accessible hydraulic return line to the tractor's hydraulic sump.
If a return-to-sump connection is not accessible on your tractor, additional plumbing may be required before a Lane Shark can be installed.
